When life kicks you, let it kick you forward...
... but what if your forward is what most people consider backwards?
I don't think I am cut out for for-profit. There's no heart in any of it... at least not for me... but I don't think I have as much heart as I used to either... though it has always been important.
Right now I feel my freedom handcuffed by life... Suffocating and trying to catch breathe...
Rut.

Ukulele!
Nah, Turnbull is in Whittier. I think most of the hip people hike at Runyon Canyon out by Griffith Park.
Uke is cool--I highly recommend it! I've somehow managed to buy four of them, and saving up for one more. I'll post a ukulele video on my Xanga if I can figure out how to do it.
About the ukes:
I started out with the smaller one (concert size) and then moved up to a bigger one (tenor). Then I found a deal on another tenor, so I got that too. Then I got a fun, plastic one that I can bring when I ride my bike. They sell ukes on eBay for less than $100--I got most of mine for around $200-$250, but starter ones are still fine and usually sound good until you figure out what kind you want to buy. I just sold my concert but am looking for another tenor.
